Detailed Daywise Itinerary
Darjeeling 65.5km 03 hrs,we drive to Darjeeling. A charming 3-hour journey, through Assam tea plantations and tiny villages takes us to Darjeeling. Built on top of a ridge, Darjeeling faces the Himalaya and is a popular destination for Westerners and Bengalis alike. Overnight in Darjeeling hotel Dekling.
Early morning trip to Tiger Hill for a fabulous Sunrise over the Khangchenjunga, visit to Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery on the way back. After breakfast/lunch visit local places of tourist interest like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Zoo, tea garden (Outer view), Tenzing rock, Ava Art Gallery ,Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda. Evening free for shopping & walk through by Darjeeling Mall. Night stay at Darjeeling Dekling Hotel.
After breakfast,we drive up to the border of West Bengal and into the former kingdom of Sikkim. The 4-hour journey leads us along the holy river Rathong.Overnight at Hotel Red Palce.
You will cover 10km in 04 to 5hrs.The route will start out with a gradual ascent and descent through the dense semi-tropical forest, along the Rathong River’s gorge. You will encounter waterfalls, untouched moss-laden forests of pine,oak,magnolia and rhododendron trees and many other varieties of flowers and birds.
Sachan,from here it is a steep 04hrs climb to Tshok until a final steep couple of hours will bring us to the small settlement of Tibetan village and small Tibetan Monastery.Tshoka also offers a view of mt Pandim,Tinchi Khang and Narsing. Overnight Camp/Hut.
From Tshoka,the trail continues to Phedang(3450m),and this section will take 2-3 hrs.Here you will break for lunch. The climb here is gentle and you can observe the transition from the coniferious forest to the rhododendron forests.Also this is one of the best trails for birds watching.Another 2 hrs walk brings you to Dzongri.The trail starts off with a relatively flat walk for about 1 hour, followed by a steep half hour climb, and then a half hour downhill walk along a winding path with sparse vegetation.over night camp.
Early morning we air for view point (Dzongri view point) with the optional of seeing the sunrise from the near by prayer flagged hillside where the king of Sikkim used to come to pay his respect to the holy mountains. In the clear weather the views here are excellent.
The trek is initially a flat walk for about half an hour, then a steep descent through the rodondendrons, towards the glacial prek river.After crossing the rivers; it will be another 1 hour gentle climb to Thansing. Overnight camp.
Follow an easy trail up to the valley through low scrub with Thangsing peak and Pan dim the right and Kanchendzonga, Gacha peak ahead. A steep climb of 40 minutes takes us over an old glacier moraine and down to Lake Semite.
Early morning we air for Goch-la. An alpine starts at 04.00hrs, will allow us to reach our objective as the sun rising and the air is clear. The high Himalayan landscape of tumbling glaciers, great pinnacled fridge and soaring peaks is dominated by the elegant but mighty bulk of Kanchendzonga towering 3500 Mts. above us, but view from our own summit will be the extraordinary. Now we descend down to Lamune and gentle walk to Thangsing, Overnight camp.
THANGSING –TSHOKA (3050 Mts. 06 hrs trek).
We follow the traditional route back to the main valley and then on to old capital Yuksam (Meeting place of three lama
Yuksam- Gangtok 06 Hrs.On the way we visit the Buddha Perk, Temi Tea Garden, Temi Tea Estate produces one of the top quality tea leaves for the international market. The Tea garden spread out on a gentle hill slope originating from the Tendong Hill provides a magnificent view of the surrounding Villages, Damthang.Lunch at Temi tea Garden resturent then after we can hading towerds, Gangtok: the scenic way up to East Sikkim Gangtok.Overnight stay at Mingtokling Guest House.
After breakfast we drive to Rumtek, a Kagyu Monastery also the seat of the Gyalwa Karmapa, Research Institute of Tibetology, the Do-drul Stupa and after Lunch at hotel orchid sanctuary for a glimpse of the rare orchids.
Afternoon: Visit Enchey Monastery, a Nyinmapa Monastery, the local handicraft center and the Flower Exhibition.Overnight Mingtokling Guest House.
After breakfast we drive to Tsomgo Lake.A sacred lake 35kms away situated at an altitude of 12400 ft near Nathula, the border between Tibet and India.Lunch at Tsomgo Lake after that we descend down to hotel. Overnight in hotel Mayfair Gangtok.Overnight stay at Mingtokling Guest House.
Gangtok:Morning breakfast-After breakfast transfer to Bagdroga Airport / NJP.Nearly 125 kilometres 5 hours drive /Guest are advise to start early and not to rush-forwarding journey.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Refund
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
